The Challenge

Kayak Las Vegas needed an edge. During the off-season, they were having trouble getting visitors to the site, as well as getting the word out about its off-season excursions. Kayak Las Vegas unsuccessfully ran a Pay-Per-Click (PPC) program with the help of other companies which never achieved a return on their investment. They had virtually no traffic and weren't generating business from their website.

The Solution

I developed a (PPC) strategy which drove targeted traffic to I researched and identified the highest performing keywords to include few generic “heavy hitters” that dramatically increased traffic.


My work dramatically increased the company’s client traffic, and increased the Return on Investment. (These statistics are a result of the campaigns I managed, and do not include any incidental contact points.) Results included:

  • Record breaking sales year
  • Excursion sales doubled (200% increase of online sales)
  • 1st month campaign paid for itself in 7 days
  • Internet customer demand required the hiring of several more staff members to keep up with customer demand
  • PPC campaign resulted in more than 1,092 phone calls
  • PPC campaign resulted in more 200 downloads of the “Rates and Dates” form
  • PPC campaign resulted in over 80 email inquiries

(The vast majority of these contact points resulted in a financial sale)
